Tranquil violet

Sooo...it´s really been a while since I´ve been coloring with my good ol´Polychromos. Well, the main purpose of this drawing was for practizing with traditional media again because I´ve been focusing a lot on digital art in the past months.

Anyways, in this picture you can see a new character of mine. (this is a early model of her though)
However, I wont introduce her yet because I´d rather like to do that with a picture where her personality is more representable (She´s presented fairly calm in this picture but dont get fooled by this false picture of serenity, seriously ). The only thing I will reveal is, that this individual has a weakspot for violets, a certain flower of affection, and sometimes she tends to retreat herself into her own personal, secretive violet meadow whenever she pleases to. Violets have a strange effect on her and hold a special place within this femme´s heart, mainly due to its symbolism.
